My work aims to create a vernacular for erotic power, creating figurative metaphors that use material and imagery from the natural world as stand-ins and extensions of women's bodies. Our bodies are sites of investigation, queer sex acts, sensuality, pleasure, the power of the erotic. In this exhibition, pleasure is both methodology and resistance. I challenge the story that patriarchy tells, reclaiming women's power to create a Sapphic, feminine universe where we have sexual and erotic autonomy, and create a Parallel Paradise. This is a soft story from the beginning, building a world towards sexual liberation.
