David Belous
Chief of Strategic Partnerships and Public Engagement at Scarborough Health Network
David Belous is currently the Chief of Strategic Partnerships and Public Engagement at Scarborough Health Network. In his role at one of Canada’s largest and most diverse hospital networks he has innovated the way hospitals partner with community and business to create a healthier future. He is leading SHN’s community COVID-19 vaccination strategy which includes mass vaccination clinics, mobile and pop up clinics as well as targeted clinics for racialized communities. His prior professional experience include serving Canada’s 22nd Prime Minister where he set a new standard for public engagement and spearheaded global trade and diplomatic missions.
David W. Binet
President and Chief Executive Officer of The Woodbridge Company Ltd.
David Binet is the President and Chief Executive Officer of The Woodbridge Company Limited, the principal investment holding company for Canada's Thomson family. Woodbridge's largest asset is its majority stake in Thomson Reuters Corporation, listed on the New York and Toronto stock exchanges, and it has numerous other investments.
David is Deputy Chairman of Thomson Reuters, and also serves on the board of directors of Woodbridge, The Globe and Mail, and a number of other companies in which Woodbridge has invested. David is Chairman of the Thomson Reuters Foundation, a London-based charity dedicated to journalism training and promoting the rule of law. David recently completed six years as Chairman of The National Ballet of Canada and is also on the board of directors of Canada Council for the Arts, the Art Gallery of Ontario, Business for the Arts, and the Council for Canadian American Relations.
Before joining Woodbridge, David was a partner in the Canadian law firm Torys LLP, where his practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance. Prior to that, he was a news reporter.
David attended Queen's University (BA Hons), McGill University (LLB) and Northwestern University (MSJ) and he has received certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors (Canada).

Lalit is a former CEO of four different listed International companies, turned innovator, educator, mentor, coach in early stage enterprise nurturing innovation and growth. He has extensive experience in nurturing, turning around and growing mature businesses across different industries. He has experience in operations, technical services, projects, sales, marketing and finance in diverse environments prior to becoming CEO. He has served on the boards of several companies as executive member for over a decade.
Lalit has coached, mentored, put together and implemented successful programs for educating entrepreneurs in Canada and abroad after retirement.
He is conversant with all aspects strategy and execution including extensive experience in identifying the issues/opportunities and developing and deploying an integrated solution to achieve results and compliance.
He holds B Tech, MBA, is qualified Lean Launchpad educator, and has about forty five years of experience.

Hillary Marshall
Group Head, Communications and Public Affairs, Canada Infrastructure Bank
Hillary Marshall loves art in all forms and creative approaches to advancing important outcomes that benefit society. She has spent her career leading communications, sustainability, community relations, and public affairs functions for some of Canada’s best-known brands and organizations, including the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, Waterfront Toronto, NATIONAL Communications, Hudson’s Bay Company, The Toronto Stock Exchange, and more. Hillary currently serves as Group Head, Communications and Public Affairs at the Canada Infrastructure Bank.
Hillary sits on the Board of Directors of Destination Toronto, and has served as Chair at Partners in Project Green, the Urban Land Institute of Toronto, and various policy committees at the Toronto Board of Trade. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has received her ICD designation. Hillary resides in Toronto with her husband and their son. They are passionate about OCAD and have enjoyed attending many of the institution’s exhibits and events over the years.

Colleen Baldwin
Vice President, Head of Global Design Strategy & Transformation at Scotiabank
Colleen serves as the Vice President, Head of Global Design Strategy & Transformation at Scotiabank. In this role she is responsible for all design and architecture for the bank’s 26 million sq. ft. portfolio of office and retail space. Previously, Colleen was a Founder and Partner at Straticom Planning Associates Inc., a major commercial design practice based in Toronto, where she focused on real estate and workplace strategy for their corporate clients.
Colleen has served as a director on the boards of The Design Exchange and Camp Oochigeas (now Campfire Circle) as well as the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Toronto (ARIDO), where she held several positions before being named President in 1997. She obtained her Bachelor of Interior Design (BID) at the University of Manitoba and her NCIDQ designation. She is a member of ARIDO, IDC and CoreNet.
Colleen founded a women’s group in 2020, WiRED (Women in Real Estate Department) and has recently been appointed the Co-Chair of Council of Chairs of Women’s Initiatives at the bank.
Glenda Crisp
Data & Technology Executive
Glenda Crisp is a seasoned data and technology leader with over 35 years of experience. She has hands-on experience with the development and execution of enterprise Data and Analytics Strategies, leading Technology and Enterprise Architecture functions, and driving remediation of data breaches and ransomware attacks. Glenda has worked primarily in the Financial Services industry both directly for large financial institutions and as a consultant. She is an independent board member for the Globe & Mail, volunteers at the Vector Institute and has prior experience on not-for-profit boards and advisory groups.
Most recently, Glenda was the Head of Data & Analytics for Thomson Reuters (TR), responsible for defining and driving the enterprise data and analytics strategy focused on delivering high-impact commercial outcomes. Under her leadership, TR created and executed the Enterprise Data & Analytics (D&A) strategy, built an enterprise data & analytics function, and established data and model governance processes, roles, policies, standards, and training. Glenda led the development of enterprise platforms including a multi-cloud Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform enabling the development of 400+ AI models (including generative AI); a data platform with automated data governance controls; and an optimized BI Platform. She delivered Data & AI Ethics Principles and embedded them within TR processes and the AI and Data Platforms. Glenda is focused on driving value from data and analytics and drove the delivery of more than 220 D&A use cases which have resulted in more than $230M in value. Glenda reported progress on the Data Strategy execution to the Board Risk Committee of TR.
Prior to joining Thomson Reuters, Glenda was the Executive Enterprise Data & Architecture at National Australia Bank responsible for shifting the technology portfolio to a multi-cloud architecture, building cloud-native data hub and advanced analytics/AI platforms and operationalizing a Privacy & Data Ethics function. She worked closely with the C-Suite and senior executive team to identify, prioritize and build analytics squads driving fifty use cases delivering $100 million in value over the course of a fiscal year. Glenda also previously held increasingly senior roles over her 17-year tenure at TD Bank Group including SVP & Chief Data Officer and SVP & CIO Corporate Technology. She is known for supporting her people and working collaboratively with business partners to achieve strong results.
Glenda has been recognized for her expertise and leadership. In 2022 and 2023, she was named a top 100 Global CDO (Corinium's Business of Data Global Leaders in Data & Analytics Top 100) and in prior years, recognized as one of the top 100 CIOs in North America by CIO Magazine.
Aly Damji
Managing Partner, Real Estate at Forum Asset Management
As Managing Partner, Real Estate at Forum Asset Management, Aly leads Forum’s largest business. This includes a $1.5B+ development pipeline with over 3,000 units of student housing and micro-units, as well as Forum’s flagship fund the Forum Real Estate Income and Impact Fund (REIIF), valued at over $500M and holds 2,900 rental housing units including 1,693 student housing beds.
Aly is active in the advocacy of student housing and is in frequent dialogue with the Province of Ontario’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing as well as Colleges and Universities Ontario. Aly works closely with Bonard, the world leader in student housing research and sits on University of Guelph’s Lang School of Business Advisory Board as well as its Real Estate Alliance Advisory Board.
Before joining Forum, Aly served as the Executive Vice President of Investments & Asset Management at Hullmark, a private urban real estate investor and developer in Downtown Toronto. During his tenure, Aly led the partnership with OCAD University on 205, 230-240 Richmond and also served as a member of the Campus Visioning Committee from 2016 to 2018, actively participating as both a partner and private stakeholder to the University. He is also a board member of NAIOP Greater Toronto Chapter, one of the commercial real estate industry’s largest advocacy groups, and served as President for the organization in 2022.
Brian Davis
Corporate Director and Consultant
Brian Davis has had an over 40-year career in corporate law and banking, and retired from full time employment at the end of 2023.
For nearly 20 years, Brian was part of the executive management team of National Bank of Canada, spending the last 10 years as Co-Chairman, Co-CEO and Co-President of National Bank Financial Inc., the investment dealer subsidiary of the Bank. In this role he was responsible for the overall conduct of the Financial Markets businesses of the Bank, participated in the strategic planning of the business and led oversight of regulatory and risk matters.
Prior to that, Brian was a Corporate Securities and Mergers and Acquisitions lawyer for the Torys law firm in Toronto, where he was the lead relationship partner for National Bank, Brookfield and Manulife, among others.
Brian continues to consult for National Bank and has taken roles in support of community initiatives for United Way of Greater Toronto.
Brian attended University of Toronto and Osgoode Hall Law School.
Elizabeth S. Dipchand

On the solicitor-side of her practice, she regularly advises clients on IP identification issues, acquisitions through R&D, ventures & partnerships, IP management through life cycle strategies, licensing & assignments, and leveraging the technology for the prosperity of her clients’ ventures. Her desire to find intelligent solutions in the hidden paths forward, around, or through problems not readily evident to others drives her passion.

Dave Forestell

Dave Forestell serves as the Vice President, Canadian Stakeholder Relations for TC Energy. Previously, he was Vice President, Office of the President and CEO, at a major bank. He has held senior positions in government and private sector. He worked overseas in Chile and Venezuela and speaks fluent Spanish. While in Chile, Mr. Forestell led corporate affairs and corporate social responsibility for several mining projects and served as Chair of a Joint Venture Board of Directors. He is currently serving as a Board Member of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission. Mr. Forestell obtained his B.A. and LLB from Western University.
Abel Juarez

She most recently served as Director, Finance at Rogers Communications, and has expertise in financial planning & analysis, operational finance, strategy, business case analysis, and M&A. She has also worked extensively within the Canadian broadcasting industry, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements through managing programming/content acquisition spend. Gail has also served on the board of directors of Cable 14, a local specialty channel serving the Hamilton community.

Maggie Broda BFA, Associate of OCA, Visual Artist, Writer, and Educator. Her paintings are in private collections throughout Canada, the US, and the is President of the OCADU Alumni Association, and currently serves as Past President of The Women’s ArAssociation of Canada. She is also a member of the Muskoka Arts and Craft Group , Executive Director of the John B Aird Gallery, and Vice President of Ignite Art , a grassroots art organization for seniors and youth.
Maggie was represented in Toronto by the Elaine Fleck Contemporary Art Gallery, Queen St West Toronto, where she provided input as Catalogue interviewer/writer/ artist. Maggie is a practising Studio Artist. A Systems Thinker, Maggie Broda’s career and dedication to art and culture has woven creativity permanently to the fabric of countless artists and institutions. She is in high demand for her painting workshops, called The Art of Loving Nature, which were a regular feature in Algonquin Pk for many years.

Nadia Galati

Nadia has over 10 years of experience as an urban planner, designer, strategist, and engagement specialist. They are dedicated to using innovative methods to support public, private and non-profit actors through urban, cultural, and policy challenges using sound analysis and actionable recommendations. Nadia has managed multi-disciplinary and complex teams and projects from start to finish, emphasizing public and interested parties' engagement. Their expertise includes qualitative and quantitative research, human-centered design, strategy, placemaking, evaluation, and policy development.
Some of Nadia's work includes the City of Kingston's Arts Fund Review, Kingston's Official Plan Update and Integrated Mobility Plan; the City of Toronto's Circular Economy Road Map and Mayor Chow's Citywide Budget Consultations; and the City of Vaughan's North Maple Regional Park - the largest park project underway in North America.

Jaime Watt
Chancellor, OCAD University
Jaime Watt was appointed OCAD U’s fifth Chancellor effective January 1, 2022 for a four-year term.
Jaime Watt is the Executive Chairman of Navigator. He specializes in complex public strategy issues, serving both domestic and international clients in the corporate, professional services, not-for-profit, and political leaders at all three levels of government across Canada.
He serves on the board of the University Health Network, CANFAR, the Shaw Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and is Chair Emeritus of the Literary Review of Canada.
He is a past president or chair of the Canadian Club of Toronto, the Albany Club, Casey House, Canadians for Equal Marriage, Canadian Human Rights Campaign and Canadian Human Rights Trust, the Literary Review of Canada among others. Additionally, he is a past director or governor of many organizations including the St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation.
He is an adjunct faculty member of the Directors Education Program, jointly developed and administered by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
Deeply involved with efforts to promote equality and human rights issues, he was the inaugural recipient of Egale’s Lifetime Achievement Award and has been awarded the Queen’s Golden and Diamond Jubilee medals for service to the community.
A highly regarded speaker, Jaime appears often as a public affairs commentator in the media. He is a regular contributor to all CBC platforms across Canada. He also writes a weekly column for The Toronto Star.

Jules Goss
Associate Professor, Tenured Faculty of Design
Goss is an associate professor in the Faculty of Design whose work involves the integration of design thinking, process and practice in health care. In 2011, he became the first designer-in-residence situated within a Canadian hospital. His current professional work facilitates design strategy and user-focused development in a wide variety of sectors ranging from pharmaceuticals to manufacturing. He is particularly interested in the intersection of design ‘thinking’ and organizational strategy in institutions and is currently working on defining and integrating design-informed models for the delivery of optimal client experience in the health sector, specifically long-term care.
Neal Prabhu
Associate Professor, Faculty of Design
Neal Prabhu is an Associate Professor, Licensed Architect, Registered Interior Designer, and Co-Director at nkArchitect, a Toronto-based Architectural and Interior Design practice. Since 2008, Neal has contributed to more than 100 architectural and interior design projects, garnering numerous awards and accolades, as well as featuring in various publications and exhibitions.
In addition to his design work, Neal actively engages with the profession through jury participation for architecture and interior design competitions and awards at both industry and academic levels. He has represented the Ontario Association of Architects as an expert witness at the provincial level and serves as a director on the board of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario.
As an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Design at OCAD University, Neal teaches in the Environmental Design Program and coordinates the CIDA-accredited Interior Design Specialization Curriculum. He is involved in several governance committees, including Senate, academic hiring, academic appeals, and graduate exhibitions. Additionally, Neal acts as the University and Program Liaison for both the Interior Design Professional (ARIDO) and Academic (IDEC) governing bodies in Ontario and North America.
Neal remains dedicated to university initiatives and professional practice while serving as Vice-President of the Leaside Baseball Association and Co-Owner of GRIT Athletics Toronto and the Ontario Blue Jays Baseball Club.
Nancy Snow
Associate Professor, Faculty of Design
Nancy Snow has practiced graphic design—predominately in government and higher education—for over 25 years. Since completing her MDes (Listen to your body: Designing for type 2 diabetes) at York University (June 2015) she has presented her work on design pedagogy, food studies, and knowledge exchange at multiple conferences across North America, in Australia, and Europe. Currently, her research and writing focus on graphic design in a variety of contexts: the beginning design student, Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC), rhetoric and social semiotics, human-computer interaction, and food insecurity (food studies). Her making practices focus on knowledge exchange/mobilization, form as narrative, and interactivity.

Prior to taking on the role of director, Research Services, Robson held administrative positions at OCAD U, York University, the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Ontario Arts Council.
Annie Yan
Student Engagement & Records Coordinator
Annie is the Student Engagement & Records Coordinator at the Faculty of Arts and Science, where she focuses on student engagement and retention strategies. She believes that every student’s journey is integral to the long-term success and growth of the institution. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Cognitive Science from the University of Toronto and deepened her expertise in higher education with a Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, she enjoys climbing and currently serves on the Ontario Climbing Federation High Performance Committee.

Stephanie Holko
Strategic Forsight and Innovation MDES Program
Stephanie Holko (she/they) serves as the Director, Project Development at Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen). NGen is the industry-led, non-profit organization leading Canada’s Global Innovation Cluster for Advanced Manufacturing and is one of five national networks supported by Canada's ambitious Global Innovation Clusters Initiative. They are enrolled in the Strategic Foresight and Innovation MDes Program at OCAD.
Prior to joining NGen, Stephanie held engineering and management roles in the steel industry. She loves connecting emerging technologies with existing manufacturing problems and believes the future of manufacturing is in the adoption of new ways of working.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science – Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, and a Master of Business Administration specializing in the Management of Innovation and New Technology from McMaster University. Stephanie is a licensed Professional Engineer in the province of Ontario.

Jugraj is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Industrial Design program who has been elected to serve a two-year term on the Board of Governors. In this role, he hopes to bring student voices to the forefront and create meaningful change at the university.
Previously, he has served as the Student Senator for the Faculty of Design and President of the Student Association of Industrial Design (SAID). He is currently the Interim Executive Director of Academic Affairs at the OCAD Student Union as it rebuilds.
Using his leadership experience, Jugraj is committed to advocating for the needs of students and working together to shape the future of OCAD University. He encourages open communication and invites students to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Luciana Gomes Da Silva
Undergraduate Digital Futures Student
Luciana is a third-year undergraduate student in the Digital Futures Program who was elected to be one of the Student Representatives for the Board of Governors of OCADU. Her studies focus on animation and interactive design, reflecting her passion for fine arts and design. During her first year in university as an international student, she could empathise and provide support to many international students who had questions and issues; voicing their concerns to the faculty. With a personal trait in leadership, she fosters responsibility and proactivity among teams.
