A member of the President’s executive team, the Vice-Provost, Students & International provides strategic leadership in advancing the institution’s academic and organizational goals, including enrolment management, student support and engagement, international relations, policy development and institutional planning and accountability.

Working collaboratively to ensure the incorporation of student issues into strategic planning and decision-making across the University, the VP, Students & International is responsible for establishing and overseeing an integrated student affairs function including the offices of:

  • Admissions & Recruitment
  • Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers
  • Dean of Students Office
  • Indigenous Student Centre
  • International Programs & Collaboration Office
  • International Student Support Office
  • Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Services – including Student Advising, Financial Aid & Awards, Graduate Studies Office and Student Housing Initiatives
  • Safety, Security & Campus Operations
  • School of Continuing Studies
  • Student Communications & Campus Community
  • Student Information Systems & Process Optimization (SISPO)
  • Student Wellness Centre

The Vice-Provost, Students & International is policy administrator for OCAD University’s for OCAD University’s Non-academic Misconduct Policy as well as the Policy on Prevention & Response to Sexual and Gender-based Violence.

The VP, Students & International represents the university on a number of external bodies, including the Ontario Committee on Student Affairs (an affiliate of the Council of Ontario Universities) and the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE).
