One-time gifts
Make an impact by contributing a one-time gift to an area of your choice or where OCAD U most needs support. Your generous donation supports vital initiatives, ensuring a vibrant future for art and design education in Toronto and beyond.

Annual or monthly gifts
Fuel the creative journey of OCAD U students by becoming an annual or monthly donor. Your consistent support provides a steady foundation, empowering us to innovate and inspire the next generation of creatives.

Endowments
An endowment is a fund comprised of philanthropic gifts and proceeds from estates and fundraising events, given to support OCAD U in perpetuity. The capital of the endowment is preserved and the annual payout from income earned is used to support a variety of programs. OCAD U has more than 145 individually named funds designated for specific scholarships, bursaries, awards and academic programs.
A minimum donation of $25,000 is required to establish a named endowed fund at OCAD U.

Faculty and staff giving
Every year, many OCAD U faculty and staff make a financial donation to the University in support of its vision and future. Gifts can be designated and made through one of our several ways to give or through payroll deduction. Established a named fund
Often named after the donor or someone they wish to honour, a named fund allows donors to establish a dedicated pool of resources supporting specific University interests. These funds can be designated for scholarships, research grants or other initiatives aligned with the donor's passions and University's priorities. With a minimum commitment of $1,000 annually for five years or an upfront donation of $5,000, you can create a lasting legacy while directly supporting the OCAD U community.

Gift of securities
A gift of securities involves donating stocks, bonds or mutual funds to OCAD University. Donors may prefer this method due to its increased tax advantage. Transferring securities directly to the University can lead to substantial tax savings, including the avoidance of capital gains tax and the issuance of charitable tax receipts.
