Launchers
Career Launchers are unique, high-profile opportunities designed to support the professional development of emerging creative talent from OCAD University as they transition out of school and into their early careers.
Opportunities including contract positions, paid internships and high-profile commissioned work are developed with industry partners and created exclusively for OCAD U students and recent graduates.
These unique opportunities provide exposure to the real-world demands of launching a professional creative career, and give students and alumni valuable experience through three streams:
- Creative opportunities provide funding for emerging artists and designers to offset material and production costs and offer creators opportunities to showcase their work.
- Recruited opportunities offer job opportunities in creative industries and media, arts, culture and heritage organizations.
- Studio and equipment opportunities offer funding for materials and access to facilities and workspaces
