As the University's chief administrative officer and reporting directly to the President, the Vice-President, Finance & Administration is responsible for providing strategic and practical leadership, oversight and stewardship of the University's non-academic functions, including: financial; human resources; information technology; capital, space and facilities; campus services and security; and risk management.

A key member of the President's cabinet and the senior leadership team, the Vice-President acts as process leader in institutional strategic planning, leads business planning, and ensures synergistic administrative operations in support of the University's academic units. The Vice-President leads capital and infrastructure planning and projects, and liaises on behalf of the University with municipal, provincial and federal government, key institutional, business and private partners, supporters and donors.
