Institutional Work-Study Plan (IWSP)

OCAD U provides on-campus employment opportunities through our Institutional Work-Study Plan, which helps students gain work experience and enhance their resumes.

Students with demonstrated financial need, who are registered in an OCAD U degree program and are Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons, are eligible to apply to positions created through the program. Available positions will be posted on the Talent Network.

IWSP is funded through Ontario's tuition fee set-aside fund. The plan is administered by OCAD U as per guidelines established by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. Student jobs are funded on a cost-sharing basis; the IWSP provides 75 percent of the funds and OCAD U departments provide the remaining 25 percent.

A limited number of work-study positions are also available to international students through the International Student Services Office.
