TD Insurance Meloche Monnex is Canada’s leading provider of group home, auto and travel insurance for university alums. They offer rates and support OCAD U alums with an exceptional level of client care.

As an OCAD U alum, you have access to our RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (RBC CEAD) for one-on-one career advising. Discuss career pathways, professional art or design practice, how to source opportunities and much more. These sessions are available to alums by appointment up to five years after you graduate. Talent Network 

The OCAD U Talent Network is available exclusively to current OCAD U students and alums and it’s the easiest way to search for jobs in art and design, connect with employers and gain professional experience in your creative field.  

The service allows you to:

• find and apply for jobs and other opportunities;
• gain professional experience in your creative field; and
• sign-up for workshops, advice sessions and other special events.

Magnet

OCAD U is a proud member of the Magnet network – a not-for-profit social initiative whose vision includes improving youth unemployment and closing the skills gap in Ontario. Students just build a profile to get started with their generalized job search! 

Specialized creative opportunities geared towards artists and designers will continue to be posted on the OCAD U Talent Network.  

Financial literacy workshops 

Financial Aid & Awards offers financial literacy services to recent OCAD U alums. Visit Financial Aid for more information, or visit them in person at 51 McCaul St. (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.). 
 

Library access - Alumni discount

Alums are eligible to access OCAD U library materials, including periodicals, peer reviewed journals, and other scholarly resources, through our specially discounted membership of $50/year through the OCAD U Library.  

The School of Continuing Studies at OCAD U offers courses, certificates and micro-credentials designed to meet your professional and lifelong learning goals. OCAD U alums are eligible to receive a 15% discount on courses! Contact continuingstudies@ocadu.ca for more information.
