Proof of identity requirements

To meet with a financial aid advisor about your student loan account, you must present your student ID and/or valid government-issued photo identification such as a driver’s licence or PR card.

If you've forgotten your Ontario Access Number (OAN) and/or password, you have two self-service options. You can reset your password online using the security questions, or via email (providing you have completed the email validation process). If you need further assistance, you can request a temporary password or retrieve your OAN by visiting the the Financial Aid office in person or by booking a virtual appointment. You will need to provide a copy of your Social Insurance Number (SIN) card and valid government-issued photo ID.

Proof of SIN includes showing either your SIN card or a letter from Service Canada or the federal government that contains your complete SIN.

Government-issued photo identification includes valid photo ID issued by the Government of Canada (e.g. passport, PR card) or valid photo ID issued by any Canadian provincial or territorial government (e.g. driver's licence).
