About the experiential learning centre at the Rosalie Sharp Pavilion
The Rosalie Sharp Pavilion’s refurbishment is a milestone in OCAD U’s Creative City Campus project, boldly re-imagining the use of the space to encompass many forms of experiential learning including studio, research and work-integrated-learning.
Tania Bortolotto designed the renewal of the building, which includes a stainless-steel scrim. The scrim represents a data visualization of downtown Toronto streets overlaid with locations of art and cultural institutions frequented by the university’s students and areas of important public art.

Gender-neutral private washrooms are located on the main and 2nd floors; gendered washrooms are on the 3rd floor.
Please contact us if you have questions or specific accessibility needs.
Lights in the space are motion sensors and will occasionally turn off when no motion is detected. We do not have control over this and the lights may turn off and on based on movement in the space.
If you are attending an in-person event, we have a limited number of assorted stim toys available to use during the event. We sanitize the toys between events.
