Our Services
Reference and instruction
Our librarians are here to assist students and faculty with their research to help them produce the best work they can. Topics might include research strategies, accessing and evaluating library sources, and specific search tools and techniques.
Students can book virtual or in-person research consultations or email a reference librarian for help. The library also publishes research guides that cover topics in art, design, and liberal arts and sciences. Students can also use the Ask a Librarian chat service to connect with a librarian from OCAD U (or other participating Ontario Universities).
Our librarians also conduct instruction sessions and workshops throughout the year to help students and faculty with understanding and navigating the library, accessing and evaluating library resources, and other related needs.
Email libraryresearch@ocadu.ca for more information.
