Pay Tuition
Overview and current dates and deadlines
Payment must be received in full by the payment deadline for each term. Students are expected to monitor their student finance account through the myOCADU student portal. Financial invoices are available on the myOCADU student portal after a student registers for the term. All finance correspondences are emailed to students' OCAD U email account.
Non-receipt of an OCAD U email notice does not exempt you from meeting your financial obligations.

Late payment of fees
Your fees must be paid in full by the payment due dates. Otherwise you could be placed on financial hold and charged an interest penalty. The financial hold will be removed when the outstanding balance, including any penalties, is paid in full.
For late payment Interest, please refer to the support article on late tuition payments.
There are several ways you can pay your OCAD U tuition
Make a bill payment through your Canadian banking institution online, via telephone banking, or in-person at the bank. Search and add “Ontario College of Art & Design or OCAD University” as a bill payment payee and use your seven digit student ID number as your account number.
Bill payments made through a bank will take two to five business days to show up on your fees account. Please allow sufficient time between your payment and any payment deadline to ensure your payment is received and credited to your account.
Online chargeback policy is applicable to all bill payments. More details regarding the online chargeback policy can be found under the Policies section of our Tuition and Fees page.
Convera (formerly WU GlobalPay) is one of two international payment vendors authorized by OCAD U for international students to pay their admission deposit and tuition fee payment. Using the Convera platform you can arrange to pay online in your own currency. There are no transaction fees, and exchange rates are favorable compared to banks. After applying, students have 72 hours to make the payment at their bank to be guaranteed the quote given.
Payments may take three to five business days to arrive. Please allow sufficient time before any payment deadline for your funds to arrive.
Online chargeback policy is applicable to all Convera payments. More details regarding the online chargeback policy can be found under the Policies section.

Follow these easy steps:
- Visit the payment portal and fill out your student details.
- Select the items for which you wish to pay and choose a payment option. Due to banking regulations, not all currencies are available. If your home currency isn’t offered, you can pay in another currency (for example, USD).
- Enter the payment details of the person making the payment and select the language in which you would like to receive your instructions. (You may need to temporarily allow pop-ups in your browser to view the payment instructions.)
- Print your payment instructions and process your payment at your bank or through online banking.
- You are done. Convera will post the funds to your student account as soon as they are received, usually two to five days from when you make your transfer.
