Calling All OCAD U students: Join Our Club!

The International Programs & Collaborations office is excited to support this new student-led initiative. Are you a university student with a story to share, experiences to discuss, or insights into the challenges facing Generation Z? We're excited to announce an opportunity for you to become a part of our podcast club, "Gen Z Chronicles".

Our club is seeking enthusiastic university students to participate in our series. OCAD U students will be working alongside students from our international partner institutions to develop a collaborative podcast that showcases diverse perspectives from students all around the globe.

  • Share your thoughts, experiences, and insights on issues that matter to your generation
  • Make meaningful connections and build relationships with peers who share your interests, both locally and internationally.
  • Engage in the podcast production process and gain valuable skills
  • Collaborate with your group members to define the direction and identity of the club and work together to record and edit each episode.
  • Broadens your horizons and understand the challenges and solutions from a worldwide viewpoint.
  • Have the chance to express yourself, tell your stories, and explore various ways to engage with your group (open dialogues, spoken word, poetry)

During each meeting you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the thought-provoking narratives that paint a picture of the daily struggles and triumphs of Gen Z students. Topics include university life, parental expectations, friendships, romance, career aspirations, social challenges, mental health, financial hurdles, and thriving in a fast-changing world.

"Gen Z Chronicles" aims to create a supportive and inclusive community that fosters understanding and collaboration, making it an environment where you can feel heard and valued.
