OCAD University is hosting a flu vaccination clinic for students, faculty and staff on Wednesday, November 15 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with support from Rexall.

The OCAD University Rexall Flu Vaccination Clinic will take place at 100 McCaul St. in room 187, on the main floor.

Students, faculty and staff can book a time slot online. Walk-ins are also welcome. Individuals receiving a vaccination should bring their OHIP or UHIP card.

OCAD U encourages students, faculty and staff to get their flu shot. Flu symptoms are more serious than cold symptoms, according to experts at Rexall. Headaches, chills and dry cough can rapidly be joined by body aches and fever. While the fever may decline on the second or third day of the illness, full recovery may take up to six weeks.

Please note that COVID-19 XBB vaccines may also be available at the flu vaccination clinic if stock is available. Please consult with the health care professional at your appointment if you would like the COVID-19 vaccine.
