Nominations are now being accepted for the following vacancies on the 2023/2024 Senate Membership:
Two (2) Sessional Faculty vacancies.
Sessional Faculty Senators are nominated and elected by and from the Sessional Faculty constituency. Sessional Faculty are elected for one-year terms and may be nominated for a second consecutive one-year term. To be eligible, nominees must be employed as Sessional Faculty at OCAD University in both the Fall and Winter terms.
The Senate is the highest body of academic governance at OCAD University and is responsible for the establishment and regulation of all academic policy, standards, and procedures. In particular, the Senate has purview over academic programming, academic strategic planning, quality assurance, student affairs and any other matter relating to academic issues.
Sessional Faculty are invited to submit a nomination by Monday, September 11, 2023, 4:00 pm (EDT).
