This exhibition showcases the work of students from Professor Jason Baerg’s three courses this term: Painting Studio (DRPT-2016), Abstraction: Indigenous Views (IVCA-3001), and Landscape Studio (DRPT-3021). Throughout these courses, students explored themes of light and shadow, materiality, and the concept of land. Their work reflects personal experiences and contemporary perspectives on place, nature, ancestral homeland, and the intricate relationship between identity and the environment.
