راجعين" Rajieen"
راجعين" Rajieen, IAMD graduating exhibition by Razan Obaid
Opening April 12, 5pm - 8pm
"راجعين" Rajieen: An Interdisciplinary Engagement Design to Revive and Sustain The Sense of Belonging. “راجعين” or “Rajieen” is an immersive interdisciplinary experience, designed to explore the essence of belonging while dedicatedly preserving the cultural heritage of Palestine. The project is a culmination of primary methods like interviews, workshops, and surveys, along with extensive secondary research drawing from theories of belonging and various design methodologies such as co-creation, symbolism, and narrative space design. In this Exhibition space, you are invited to engage with the Palestinian culture through a multi-sensory journey of sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste, and immerse yourself in the heart of the project – Rajieen board game, exploring Palestine's landscapes, cities, people and unique culture. Amid these dark days in today’s homeland, Rajieen is a tool to convey the optimistic, positive side of Palestine – Palestine the rich culture, fertile land, and loveable people who, no matter how far or close they are to their homeland, they carry Palestine in their heart and memories.
