10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Location: The workshop will begin on site in the Port Lands and will move inside to the OCAD U Waterfront Campus at 130 Queens Quay E.

Join the Culturans team for an intimate, hands-on workshop looking back at the Port Lands Flood Protection project. With limited capacity, this inspiring session explores social design and cultural research while addressing real-world challenges through empathy, co-creation, and impact-driven solutions.

This workshop is ideal for graduate and undergraduate students, designers, urban planners, cultural researchers, social innovators, and anyone interested in applying creativity to real-world challenges.

Whether you're passionate about social design, sustainability, or community development, this session offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with global changemakers and deepen your understanding of impactful, empathy-driven solutions. If you’re ready to explore the intersection of design, culture, and innovation, this workshop is for you!

Following the workshop please join us for a panel discussion, which will explore the transformative role of sustainable and creative approaches in urban design, focusing on how innovative, eco-conscious planning can reshape our cities. By integrating multiple perspectives, we can create a dynamic blueprint for carbon-neutral, creative, and active urban spaces. RSVP at this link for the panel discussion.

Participants will be given a certificate of completion following the workshop. A full itinerary and meeting spot will be sent before the workshop.
