「Incompleted order: the pretext of consumer anxiety」
IAMD thesis exhibition by Sun Banghao
「Incompleted order: the pretext of consumer anxiety」 challenging the passive consumer narrative, prioritizing individual experiences over market dominance. Inspired by Song Dong’s ‘Waste Not,’ I contrast past scarcity with modern consumerism, prompting reflection on materialism‘s true essence. Through visual symbolism, I explore the intricate relationship between individuals and consumption, inviting viewers to contemplate the deeper significance of their materialistic pursuits.
