Ethennonnhawahstihnen - Where They Have a Good and Beautiful Life
Ethennonnhawahstihnen - Where They Have a Good and Beautiful Life, graduating exhibition by Yuefeng Li,
Opening reception Thursday, March 21st, 18:00 - 21:00
"Ethennonnhawahstihnen - Where They Have a Good and Beautiful Life" employs the human body as a metaphorical passage to explore the complexities of the often-dismissed landscape. As an interdisciplinary artist focusing on Ecological Anthropology, Yuefeng Li presents semi-abstract paintings and installations that navigate the intricate intersections of urban wilderness. This exhibition seeks to evoke an entangled imagination, emphasizing the interplay between bodies and landscapes and reflecting on bodily engagement within both constructed and natural contexts. It invites viewers to approach and reveal how our perceptions and cognition are shaped and transformed, promoting an understanding and vision of harmonious coexistence in our rapidly urbanizing reality.
