Works by Aleksandra Rodneva. “Daydreams and Nightmares” is about exploring the mix of joy and fear we all experience.
Daydreams are those moments when our minds wander to happy, imaginative places, filling us with wonder and joy. They offer a temporary escape from reality, and fuel us to bring a part of our imagination to others in one form or another. Nightmares, on the other hand, bring our fears to life. They can warn us about the potential dangers, but they carve out holes in our souls and burn out our energy. Through her work, she captures these opposing forces and everything in between, weaving them into a narrative that resonates with our everyday experiences.
