Coffee Chats w/ is a series of virtual casual gatherings with the CEAD team with industry guests. Hosted virtually in small intimate groups, these gatherings will provide a space for group conversations with practitioners who are interested in supporting OCAD U students and grads to offer mentorship, and share their professional insights and journey, while collectively creating an online community.

Anne Gorgy is a Senior Concept Designer with the Innovation Team at OMERS. She works at the intersection of Immersive Research, Transformation Design, and Strategic Foresight. She works with cross-functional teams to uncover, map, and translate research insights into actionable strategies and concepts to generate novel products, services, and experiences for today and tomorrow. Her work strives to be a narrative and an experience designed to communicate the rigour of the process, what could be possible, and inspire change. Anne has 5+ years of experience in foresight, design research, and experience strategy and design and has worked with 10+ global and Canadian organizations across many industry sectors. Anne holds a bachelors of Design, Industrial Design from OCAD University.

Anne is open to talking about: Foresight, Design Research, Experience Strategy, being a Design generalist, cultural diversity in the workplace, being an immigrant, and finding your creative voice and niche.
