OCAD University’s RBC Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers (CEAD) is excited to announce a new partnership with Bamtori Studio. Bamtori Studio is a Toronto-based creative design and lifestyle brand that celebrates local and emerging artists by hosting community art markets in the GTA.
A small, curated group of OCAD U students and recent alumni will be invited to share an OCAD U table to sell products and artworks as part of Bamtori Studio’s Valentine’s Day Market. This market features artists and vendors who will sell Valentine’s Day-themed artwork, stationery and food. While the theme is centred on Valentine’s Day, products and offerings for fun singles’ gifts, self-love themed products, or friendship-inspired pieces are all welcome. Examples of possible products and services include, but are not limited to: stickers, stationary, prints, keychains, live-drawing/portraits, handmade artist gifts and more.
The market takes place on Sat. Feb. 1, 2025 from 11 AM – 5 PM at 3377 Bayview Ave, North York, ON.
This is a great opportunity to gain tabling experience alongside your peers. The CEAD will host an onboarding workshop before the market to help vendors prepare. No percentage of sales will be taken from OCAD U or Bamtori Studio.
