Skot Deeming is an interdisciplinary artist, curator and scholar, whose work spans the spectrum of interdisciplinary practices from integrated digital to analog image making and fabrication. Skot is the founder and co-curator of The Vector Festival, in Toronto, Canada, and has curated and participated in exhibitions across the globe. He is currently a doctoral candidate in the Individualized Program at Concordia University, and a member of the Milieux Institute for Arts, Culture and Technology. His doctoral research focuses on the cultural economies of transmedia storytelling, character licensing, and appropriation, examined through the medium of the action figure.
