Onah Jung is an OCAD University instructor and the firm's Principal Architect, Studio Jonah. As an architect, designer, and educator, she strives to advance creative practices in pedagogies, research, and professional practice to address many urgent environmental and social challenges in our cities and communities.

She has over two decades of professional experience working on diverse architectural projects in Canada and the US. Since founding her architecture practice, she has provided leadership in designing various building types, from residential to institutional sectors. Some of the most notable projects are the World Trade Center tower 4, the Museum of Modern Art, and the University of Maryland Hospital, amongst others.

Onah Jung is registered to practice in Ontario and New York State. She also holds LEED AP credentials with the US Green Building Council. She strives to incorporate energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions into the project development process from initial design to construction.

She also served as the Treasurer for the AIA Canada chapter and on the committee for interviewing prospective students for Cornell Architecture School. She also maintains an online design blog, Life Outside of Design Studio, to share design-related stories with other contributors.

She graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture (5 years program) and Columbia University with a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design.
