Isaac King

Isaac King is an animation artist, filmmaker, and teacher combining handmade and digital techniques. His research connects humans and ecology through animation, experimenting with outdoor, installation, and immersive projects.
For over 20 years Isaac has been directing, designing, and animating short films, commercials, and PSAs in a variety of media including drawn, stop-motion, and digital hybrids. His independent films and commissioned work have screened at hundreds of festivals, been included in educational curricula, and won awards including the Annecy Public Prize. Isaac holds a Bachelor of Media Arts Degree (Emily Carr University) and an Interdisciplinary Masters of Fine Arts degree (OCAD U).
