Prayag is an advocate for sustainable community development and social progress, dedicated to driving positive change within marginalized global populations. With expertise spanning nearly a decade, Prayag has honed skills in designing educational frameworks for children, empowering women-led initiatives, and creating livelihood opportunities that align with local values. The journey commenced at Barefoot College International, where a focus on curriculum design, women-centric energy strategies, and agro-livelihood solutions rooted in natural farming techniques provided invaluable insights into human-centered approaches for fostering sustainable communities.
Seeking to merge technology with community advancement, Prayag pursued an M.Des. in Digital Futures at OCAD University, further enriching skills in interaction design, transmedia storytelling, and wearable electronics. Prayag's M.Des. thesis centered on empowering women in rural settings by creating an accessible hybrid physical-digital tabletop game. This innovative tool facilitates collaborative problem-solving for sustainable bottom-up development, exemplifying Prayag's commitment to meaningful change.
