Holly Chang (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist living in Toronto/Tkaronto. Her overall artistic work explores the themes of her second-generation identity through mediums including photography, textiles, natural dyeing, and ceramics. She has her MA in Communication and Culture from TMU/York University with a focus on Chinese Canadian history, archives, and textiles. She also holds a BA in Creative Industries from TMU and had a focus in fashion and curatorial practices.

Her previous achievements include the Banff Artist in residence program (2022), her first solo at Gallery44 (2022) as member in residence and an exhibition at Project Casa for Art Pop Montreal (2022). She has also participated in a group exhibition with Varley Gallery for CONTACT Photography festival (2021) and two international artist residencies including Palazzo Monti in Italy (2018) and NES Artist Residency in Iceland (2019). Her most recent achievement was her participation in Proof 29 at Gallery44 (2023). She was also the recipient of the Middlebrook Prize for Curation (2023).
