Halleh Nejadriahi is a PhD holder in Architecture, a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, and a LEED Green Associate. Her bachelor's and master's degrees are also in Architecture. Her specific areas of expertise are architectural design and construction, environmental design and sustainability, design theories and principles, space organizations, and design communications. Studying, teaching, and working in different institutions in Canada, Europe and Middle East provided her excellent opportunities to develop her professional experience. She has taught a variety of architectural and interior design courses for more than 15 years. She has various publications in the field of architecture in international scientific journals and conference proceedings, and has been the session chair for several international conferences. She has the certificate of Teaching Art and Design Online, Universal Design for Learning, and the Honor Certificate in Pathways into Sustainability and Energy Program. She has earned the "Health and Wellness" badge for “Built for Health” from U.S. Green Building Council. She is also a member of the Ontario College of Art and Design Faculty Association, the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity (NCFDD), the International Association People-Environment Studies, the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture & Urbanism (INTBAU), and the International Scientific Committee and Editorial Review Board of a number of journals.
