George Walker is a wood engraver, book artist, author and professor who has taught courses at OCAD University since 1985. He teaches courses in the Printmaking and Publications programs. His most recent courses include Bookbinding PRNT-2009-501, Relief, Letterpress PRPB-2002-301 and Expanded Relief and Intaglio PRPB-3008. For over thirty years he has exhibited his wood engravings and limited edition artist books internationally. Among many book projects, George has illustrated two hand-printed editions written by Neil Gaiman. Walker was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Art in 2002 and belongs to The Loving Society of Letterpress Printers and The Binders of Infinite Love, The Arts & Letters Club of Toronto, Alcuin Society and the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG).
