Franziska Erlebach

Franziska Erlebach is an independent Design Director and educator with more than 10 years of experience in the creative industry in Europe and North America. Before going freelance, she was the Design Director at Sid Lee, a global, multi-disciplinary creative agency, where she spearheaded the design department. Prior to joining Sid Lee she worked over half a decade at Bruce Mau Design as well as at firms in Switzerland and Germany.

Franziska has an aptitude for experimental making and strategic thinking, something that she brings to both her professional work and the classroom. Design is what grounds her, but she loves discovering and exploring the intersection of disciplines.

She has taught Information Design at York University and has been teaching at OCAD U since 2013 with a strong focus on Typography.
