100m Studio
100m is an in-house design studio. We aim to contribute to our community by providing design services to student groups, student union, faculty and communities across OCAD U. 100m is an opportunity to bring our practice to real life in projects we deeply care about—a communal practice—facilitating co-operation within our campus.
Almeda Black Student Collective
The Almeda Black Student Collective is an OCAD U group for Black students and alumni to engage and connect with each other about artistic ideas, opportunities, learn from one another and foster a sense of community.
A place for black students and their peers to create a community effort towards social change in the academic space, as well as having a communal space for people to connect.
Clay Club Studio
Clay Club Studio provides students with opportunities to practice and learn clay-based sculpture techniques. Additionally, members will work on observational sculpture using live models and objects.
Crochet Club
The Crochet Club at OCAD University is a place where individuals who are interested in crochet can come together to crochet, share advice and resources, and make friends with fellow peers. All skill levels from complete
beginner to advanced crocheter are welcome to join! Other textiles or fiber artists are welcome to join as well. Together the crochet club aims to provide individuals at OCAD U a space to step back and relax.
Foundry Club
OCAD University’s newly renovated Foundry is a fully equipped metal casting facility for bronze
and aluminum.The Foundry Club exists to allow students with similar interests, backgrounds,
and ambitions to share ideas, explore techniques, casting processes, and examine various
casting materials. Club members will have access to the Foundry for metal casting projects,
both individually and/or group projects. Foundry Club plans to meet on a bi-weekly basis,
developing project plans, goals, and activities; learning and innovation can happen through
collaboration!
Women in Film
Our club provides a supportive space for female-identifying individuals passionate about cinema. Through regular film screenings and critique sessions, members will improve their cinematic skills, styles, and techniques while fostering connections within the community. By engaging in discussions and analysis of films, members are inspired to create their own projects, furthering their journey as filmmakers and storytellers.
