Panelists Khadija Aziz, Herman Pi’ikea Clark, JJ Lee, and Julius Poncelet Manapul each delve into their experiential belonging through their distinct creative practices, which connect deeply with their identities, and communities. Through their art, they tell stories about their sense of belonging or disconnection within diasporic and Indigenous contexts. The discussion will be moderated by Susan Jama, Programs and Community Coordinator.
In this CEAD Workshop, Artist Gillian Toliver will share tips and their experience with building an online presence, selling their work via Partial and beyond. Partial will also share tips and tricks on how to use the platform to give buyers, curators, and more a clear sense of your work and practice, and how to effectively present yourself and your art online.

Hosted in small intimate groups, these gatherings will provide a space for group conversations with practitioners who are interested in supporting OCAD U students and grads to offer mentorship, and share their professional insights and journey, while collectively creating a community.

This fundraising event will entertainment, refreshments and up to 20 lots in an exciting live auction. Up to 30 lots will be available in an online silent audience. From sculptures to paintings to mixed media pieces, don't miss this opportunity to acquire exceptional works from Canada's leading art, design and new media creatives.
Proceeds from this unique event will support programming and bursaries for OCAD University students who are Indigenous, Black and People of Colour.

In light of their life and intellectual journeys, speakers Louise Vigneault and Eddy Firmin, with moderator Analays Álvarez Hernández, examine the notion of Americanity in different spaces of the Francophonie. What does it mean to be aware of one's Americanity and others in Québec or Guadeloupe? The discussion will be conducted considering historical and current colonial and geopolitical conditions.
