Coffee Chats is a series of casual gatherings with the CEAD team with industry guests. Hosted in small intimate groups, these gatherings will provide a space for group conversations with practitioners who are interested in supporting OCAD U students and grads to offer mentorship, and share their professional insights and journey, while collectively creating a community.
The Centre for Emerging Artists & Designers is excited to announce the return of our partnership with Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (TOAF), Canada’s leading contemporary outdoor art fair. The TOAF Career Launcher is for students in the Illustration, Material Art & Design, Photography, Integrated Media, Sculpture and Installation, Drawing and Painting, Interdisciplinary Master’s in Art, Media and Design, Digital Futures, Indigenous Visual Culture and Printmaking/Publications programs. The selected students will have a free opportunity at the 62nd TOAF to showcase their artworks in-person and online at TOAF.ca.

From February 22-24th, 2023 attend the DCF Speaker Series to hear from industry partners as they profile their companies and deliver presentations on specific topics of interest within the field of design. On February 24th, 2023 attend the fair at the Rosalie Sharp Pavilion at OCAD U to connect with industry professionals, get feedback on your portfolio and build your professional network.
