On Wednesday, November 30th, The Store, officially launched! Students, Faculty and staff gathered for the ribbon cutting and celebration.
We’re really excited to open The Store! Now students will have a central location to buy Studio materials and supplies, without having to go to multiple locations, or wait until classes are finished to purchase. It’s been under development for a long time, so it’s really gratifying to see it open. Combined with Tool Loans, this is an amazing resource for everyone. The Store offers super-convenient shopping for sheet woods and plastics, textiles, printmaking supplies, jewellery supplies, personal protective equipment, abrasives, SDHC cards and USB drives, and more!!
Located at MCA 121, The Store is open to students, faculty, and staff. The Store also houses Tool Loans for a wide range of equipment borrowing, including standard power and hand tools like cordless drills, hammers, pliers, and wrenches, sewing machines, heat guns, mannequins etc.
The Store is open 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Weekdays and 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Weekends.
