Presented by Campus Life Fall Welcome Squad
Supported by Office of Diversity, Equity & Sustainability Initiatives (ODESI)

Audience: all OCAD U students

Diwali, the festival of lights, is right around the corner! All students are invited to come paint and decorate a diya* that you can take home, jam to some Bollywood music, learn about Diwali and make some new friends! Desi treats will be available!

Wednesday, November 3
Anytime between 1 to 4 p.m.
Main lobby, 100 McCaul Street

Diyas will be provided (as will art supplies—but feel free to bring your own).

Due to limited seating (and diyas), RSVP is required: https://forms.office.com/r/v6pgEnbgci

Mask-wearing and social distancing protocols will be in place.

* A Diya is an oil lamp usually made from clay, native to the Indian subcontinent and often used in Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain and Zoroastrian religious festivals such as Diwali.
