We will celebrating what you have accomplished and learned through the peer to peer and community sessions that have been running throughout the year.

Showcase Your Work

In the first hour of the event you will have the opportunity to practice tabling, showcase your work, ideas or achievements. As well as critiquing peer work for feedback and encouragement. This is a great opportunity to practice curating how you present yourself and your work in a public setting. Please also bring your marketing tools such as business cards, websites, socials, etc. if you have any. If you don't have work that you would like to share, feel free to come and participate at your comfort level.

Eat and Greet

In the second hour we will be talking about resources to share, advice on starting up your practice, and setting up working environments.

Additional Note

In recognition for those who have attended more than one creative entrepreneurship workshop from Fall 2022 to now, you can receive an enamel pin designed by an OCAD U alumni. If you have questions about eligibility, email Alexandra at ahong@ocadu.ca. You will be able to select a pin from either Ness Lee, Winnie Truong, or Chief Lady Bird as shown in the image below:

ACCESS NOTES:

  • This event is open to OCAD U students, alumni, and individuals who have taken/or are currently taking courses with OCAD U's School of Continuing Studies.
  • We will provide a meal as part of this event. Tupperware will be available if you prefer to take the meal away.
  • Stim toys will be available for participants.
  • OCAD U does not require masks on campus. As the decision to wear a mask is now one of individual choice, we ask that all members of the community demonstrate respect for those who continue to wear masks for health and safety reasons. Masks will continue to be supplied in the CEAD. Learn more about OCAD U's masking policy.

This programming is part of FINELINE, a project by OCAD University to incubate and develop a platform and a coop that helps artists and designers grow their business online, while developing creative entrepreneurship skills.
