Many first impressions are created through email!
It can be an effective way to organize tasks and conversations, but it can also be the source of a lot of miscommunication. Perhaps the tone was off, or the right people didn’t receive the message, your attachment didn’t attach, or your questions or comments were missed.
The CEAD is hosting a workshop on tips and tricks for email etiquette as part of a series of events on how you can put your best self forward. Like many things, email is a tool—how can you make it work for you in the most optimal way by leaving a lasting impression on clients and employers, while ensuring that there are minimal communication hiccups? We’ll cover subjects such as:
- Email vs other communication methods
- Fundamentals of email content
- Group emails
- Attachments and sharing media
- Clarity: How to move the conversation forward
- Tips and tricks for making email management easier
