OCAD University’s Faculty of Art is pleased to host Bangalore-based artist Indu Antony as the inaugural artist-in-residence for the 2019 IArts Residency Program.

Through her photo-based, multi-disciplinary work, Indu Antony explores the intangible character of spaces in relation to the gendered body. Winner of the Toto Funds Award for photography in 2011, Antony continues to build an international reputation, appearing in Queer Asia Photo Exhibition, London, 2017, FotoFest Biennial, Houston, 2018, and Kochi-Muziris Biennale (Collateral), 2018-19. OCAD U is excited to introduce Antony’s work to Canadian audiences.

Generously supported by the IArts Project Fund, the IArts Residency program brings the richness of Indian visual and material arts to OCAD U.
