PROXIMITIES OCAD U Life Studies Thesis Show

Opening Reception - March 17th, 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Artist talks will take place at the gallery on March 25th at 4:00pm

OCAD University is pleased to present a thesis exhibition from the Life Studies students at Gallery 1313. Tracing the boundaries of the intangible, the irrevocable, and at times the ethereal, Proximities: OCAD U Life Studies Thesis Show is about life and visual languages utilized to investigate its less tangible realities. Amongst the five artists, overlapping themes of memory, history, communication, categorization, language abstraction and oppression rise to the surface.

The exhibition will take place from March 16th-27th, with an opening reception on March 17th from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. Participating artists are Ifetayo Alabi, Abby Kettner, Nicole Ionescu, Elizabeth DeCoste, and Parastoo Mahmoudi

The Life Studies Specialization would like to thank the Joan and Clifford Hatch Foundation for their support in making this exhibition possible.
