Visual and Critical Studies Chair Ryan Whyte’s submission from the 2021 Pollinator Photo Competition was chosen for the inaugural exhibit and in a recent interview, Dr. Whyte discusses how his photographs of over 85 insect species, taken in his urban balcony garden, are also connected to his research on 18th century art, and representations of food, nature and beauty in art.

The exhibition, entitled “Pollinator,” opens on March 24 and runs until April 21, 2022, in the ODESI office (recently moved to room 316, 100 McCaul).
