Call for Nominations: OCAD U 2023-2024 Teaching Awards
Deadline for Nominations: Monday, April 1, 2024 at 5:00 pm ET.
The nomination period for OCAD U’s 2023-2024 Teaching Awards is now open! All OCAD students, staff and faculty members alike are invited to nominate one of our many dedicated faculty/instructors and teaching assistants (TAs) for the awards that celebrate teaching here at OCAD U.
Nominations will remain open for just over six-weeks, including the entire month of March, to allow students more time to nominate their instructors and TAs. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, April 1st at 5:00pm ET.
Who is eligible to be nominated?
All faculty, instructors and teaching assistants (TAs) who taught in the 2023/2024 academic year (which includes Spring/Summer 2023, Fall 2023 and Winter 2024 terms) are eligible to be nominated for this year’s teaching awards.
How do I submit a nomination?
Review the 2023-2024 Teaching Awards Criteria (PDF) and submit a letter of nomination using this NOMINATION FORM.
Your letter of nomination should describe, with examples based on the 2023-2024 Teaching Awards Criteria, why you are nominating this faculty member or teaching assistant for a teaching award. While you are not required to speak to all of the Teaching Awards criteria, your nomination letter should clearly address as many of the criteria that apply. Please prepare your letter of nomination in advance and attach it as a word document or PDF to the nomination form linked above.
